The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize your storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The durable and adaptable shelving features open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing flexibility with various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area. Its open design allows four-sided access, and the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint and eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The shelving is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel and features a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces. Warranty information is consistent with SC Preferred standards.
