The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments for customizable storage. This shelving unit allows four side access and is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway and ensuring structural security. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjusting vertically in 1" increments. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and a white laminated appearance. The particle board ships in two pieces and assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, as components snap into place for easy setup and expansion by joining units with greater stability than bolting starter units together.
