The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, featuring a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It offers durable and adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments and an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, preventing back and side sway while providing structural stability. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The 1/2" thick laminate decking is white and features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the steel components, with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface and pre-cut square edging; note that the particle board ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
