The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It offers durable and adaptable storage for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access providing maximum flexibility, while front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, with snap-in components. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white/laminated particle board that ships in two pieces.
