The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The adjustable open shelves can be set at 1" increments to accommodate various heights, widths, and depths, allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. It has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The design allows for simple expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
