The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, featuring adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and an easy assembly process that requires no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing, the shelving provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking, which measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated finish, enhance durability and appearance. The shelving offers four-side access for maximum flexibility and can be expanded easily for additional stability compared to bolting two starter units together.
