The SC Preferred 4 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. This durable shelving unit supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level with open shelves adjustable in 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the steel components. The shelving features a boltless design requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips, with snap-in components for easy assembly. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation, and double rivet button stud construction locks beams into corner posts for structural stability, eliminating back and side sway. The particle board decking ships in two pieces.
