The SC Preferred 3 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. The shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing versatile storage configurations. The open design offers four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the unit is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability, while the 1/2" thick melamine surface decking is stain-resistant and easy to clean, featuring pre-cut square edging in white laminated finish.
