The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the unit features durable roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights, punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, preventing back and side sway. The package includes rugged steel uprights and double rivet button stud construction for perimeter beams, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in a white laminated finish. Assembly requires no nuts, bolts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components and allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility.
