The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for customizable configurations, and the system provides four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Expansion is simple and more stable compared to bolting two starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner post, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces. The shelving system includes a warranty as specified by the manufacturer.
