The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. This durable and adaptable storage solution is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring adjustable open shelves at 1" increments. The unit allows four-side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. Expansion is simplified by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The shelving is constructed of sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces.
