The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings. Each shelf level supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. The shelving features adjustable open shelves that move in 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers along with double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts using button stud construction, ensuring structural stability and eliminating back and side sway. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel steel frame with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, while the 1/2" thick pre-cut white laminated melamine surface decking is stain resistant and easy to clean; the particle board ships in two pieces. Assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, as snap-in components allow for easy setup and expansion by joining add-on units for greater stability without bolting starter units together.
