The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, featuring various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility layout. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, with shelves adjustable in 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14-gauge steel T posts punched at 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves with double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf. The wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass throughout racks, enhancing fire safety. The durable roll-formed steel framing features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Expansion is simplified by joining units with greater stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
