The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage space in retail, industrial, and commercial environments. It features adjustable open shelves that change in 1" increments for flexibility, with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. The top and bottom shelves employ double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass easily through racks, which improves fire safety and can lower insurance costs. The open design provides four-side access and the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick setup. This design also enables easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
