The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments to fit various heights, widths, and depths, accommodating nearly every retail, commercial, and industrial storage area. The top and bottom shelves use double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout racks for improved fire safety. The design features an open structure with four side access, providing maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and units can be expanded with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
