The SC Preferred™ 4 Shelf Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, featuring various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly any facility layout. It includes four open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and offers an open design for four-sided access, providing maximum flexibility. The shelving unit is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Expansion is simplified by joining units with greater stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. Constructed of sturdy, roll-formed 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, the kit includes double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves with double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking enables ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through the racks easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
