The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize your storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, offering various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility space. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments with easy assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility and expansion, enabling units to join together with greater stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units. Constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing, it provides maximum support; the top and bottom shelves use double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating structurally secure joints that prevent back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The shelving is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, with sprinkler water passing throughout racks easily to improve fire safety and potentially lower insurance premiums.
