The SC Preferred 3 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all providing sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. The top and bottom shelves utilize double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy passage of sprinkler water through the racks, improving fire safety and reducing insurance premiums.
