The SC Preferred 3 Shelf Commercial Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with Wire Decking is designed to maximize storage in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It features durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments for customizable storage configurations. The unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all providing strong structural support and eliminating back and side sway. The shelving system uses snap-in components for easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. This open design permits four-side access and enables sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
