The SC Preferred 3 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, industrial, and commercial environments. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted top and bottom perimeter beams for secure joints, and single rivet center beams, all adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The package includes snap-in components with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, eliminating the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing easy assembly. The wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while permitting sprinkler water to pass through, which improves fire safety. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the open design offers four-side access for maximum flexibility. This shelving system complies with safety standards ensuring a structurally secure joint and eliminating back and side sway.
