The SC Preferred 3 shelf, commercial duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves allow four-sided access and the open design provides maximum flexibility. The snap-in components enable easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, and the top and bottom shelves use double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while wire decking on the shelves allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy passage of sprinkler water, improving fire safety and reducing insurance premiums.
