The SC Preferred 3 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, industrial, and commercial settings. It features adjustable open shelves that can be moved in 1" increments for flexible configuration. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf. The top and bottom shelves use double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into the corner post, forming a secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the center shelf beams are single rivet. The wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily to improve fire safety. The shelving unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips for assembly, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility, and the steel roll-formed framing ensures maximum support.
