The SC Preferred 3 Shelf Commercial Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with Wire Decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring open shelves adjustable at 1" increments to fit various heights, widths, and depths. This shelving unit allows four-side access with an open design to maximize flexibility and easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. It is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with top and bottom shelves using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel and includes wire decking to allow ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage for enhanced fire safety.
