The SC Preferred 3 Shelf Commercial Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial environments with various heights, widths, and depths available to suit nearly any facility. The open shelving design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the adjustable shelves can be set in 1" increments. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, featuring sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. The top and bottom shelves utilize double rivet button stud construction to securely lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, along with double riveted and single rivet horizontal beams adjustable vertically every inch. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, and the included wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. The open wire design also allows sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
