The SC Preferred 3 Shelf Commercial Duty Boltless Shelving starter unit with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, industrial, and commercial facilities. It features adjustable open shelves that can be moved in 1" increments and is available in various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any area. The shelving system offers four-side open access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. Constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing, it provides maximum support with top and bottom shelves using double rivet button stud construction to securely lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, single rivet horizontal beams adjustable in 1" increments, and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass freely through the racks to improve fire safety and potentially reduce insurance premiums.
