The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, maximizing your storage area with various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility. This open shelving unit allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips as it uses snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support; the top and bottom shelves feature double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams adjusting vertically at 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish with stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and features a white laminated surface.
