The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for versatile storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet beams for the center shelf, all of which adjust vertically at 1" increments. The top and bottom shelves use double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes 1/2" thick stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components instead.
