The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and an open design that allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all of which adjust vertically at 1" increments. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with top and bottom shelves using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The laminate decking is stain-resistant, easy to clean, measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, and features a white melamine surface finish. The entire unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips for assembly.
