The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit includes a starter unit with rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and feature stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white/laminated finish. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and the top and bottom shelves use double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components instead.
