The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. This shelving unit features open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for customizable storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all providing maximum structural support and stability by locking perimeter beams into corner posts and eliminating back and side sway. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish with stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick, featuring pre-cut square edging in a white laminated finish. Assembly is straightforward and does not require bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, making it suitable for various facility areas with different heights, widths, and depths.
