The SC Preferred 5 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, industrial, and commercial environments. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments for versatile storage configurations, with a sturdy roll-formed steel frame that provides maximum support. The top and bottom shelves utilize double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The shelves include 1/2" thick melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging that is stain resistant and easy to clean, complemented by a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, and the open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving add-on is compatible for expansion by joining units with stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
