The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, industrial, and commercial environments, offering various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility area. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams on the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams on the center shelf, all adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The top and bottom shelves use double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The 1/2" thick melamine surface decking is stain resistant and easy to clean, featuring pre-cut square edging and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the steel framing. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the add-on units can be expanded and joined for greater stability without the need for bolting starter units together.
