The SC Preferred 3 Shelf, Commercial Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with Wood Decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, with an open design allowing four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all of which adjust vertically in 1" increments. The top and bottom shelves use double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the center shelf employs single rivet beams. The shelving starter includes sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which is chip resistant and finished with a gray baked enamel for durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips.
