The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with top and bottom shelves using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. The shelves feature a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking offers a cost-effective solid surface.
