The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments for versatile configuration and easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf. The steel framing is roll-formed for maximum support, with top and bottom shelves using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the framework, while sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides solid and cost-effective decking. The open design allows four-sided access, enhancing flexibility and usability.
