The SC Preferred™ 4 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter kit with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space and is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched at 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams on the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams on the center shelf, all adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The shelves feature chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on sturdy roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support. The top and bottom shelves use double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open shelf design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The wood decking consists of smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard for cost-effective solid support. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The starter unit dimensions and specifications accommodate various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility area. The shelving is certified for commercial and industrial use and comes with a warranty covering manufacturer defects.
