The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial facilities, offering various heights, widths, and depths to suit nearly every space. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The open design provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility, while snap-in components allow easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support, with top and bottom shelves featuring double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The shelves use smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish.
