The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, all adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The top and bottom shelves use double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams for support. This starter unit is available in various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility space.
