The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space with durable and adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial environments. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing for customizable storage heights. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams for the top and bottom shelves, single rivet horizontal beams for the center shelf, and precut 5/8" thick chip-resistant particleboard decking finished in gray baked enamel. The boltless design enables easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips, featuring snap-in components for quick setup and structural integrity. The top and bottom shelves utilize double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, preventing back and side sway, while the center shelf is secured with single rivet beams. This design allows for expansion by joining add-on units with greater stability and less construction effort compared to bolting starter units together.
