The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, featuring various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any area. The unit includes sturdy 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams on the top and bottom shelves, and single rivet horizontal beams on the center shelf, all adjustable in 1" vertical increments. The roll-formed steel framing uses double rivet button stud construction on the top and bottom shelves to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open shelving design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility, while the snap-in components allow easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips. The add-on is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating and includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking for a cost-effective, solid surface. This boltless shelving system is ideal for expanding existing units with enhanced stability and less construction effort compared to bolting multiple starter units together.
