ER70S-6 mild steel MIG welding wire is a high strength mild steel MIG wire designed for auto body repair and fabrication on most ferrous metals. It contains a high level of manganese and silicon, allowing for superior welds even on rusty or dirty steel. The wire produces a smooth bead that requires less grinding and is not recommended for aluminum engines. The specification includes a required shielding gas of Argon/CO2, recommended polarity of DCEP reverse polarity, a weight of 2 lbs.
