The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility space. Each shelf level supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility with four side access. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, featuring snap-in components and sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the shelves use sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
