The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial environments, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving system includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts with double rivet button stud construction for secure joints, preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the sturdy roll-formed steel framing. The package includes easy-to-assemble snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The decking consists of smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard shipped in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
