The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, the shelves are adjustable at 1" increments to accommodate various heights, widths, and depths. The open design allows four side access, providing maximum flexibility, and the assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically by 1" increments, and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The shelves include sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking shipped in two pieces for a cost-effective solid surface.
