The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, enabling sprinkler water to pass easily throughout racks to improve fire safety and lower insurance premiums. The unit has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires easy assembly with snap-in components, with no bolts, nuts, or clips required.
