The SC Preferred 4-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It offers durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers along with double-riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and durable, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking shipped in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
