The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and feature a sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking that ships in two pieces. The shelving system provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility and features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Its snap-in components allow easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The sturdy, roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support. This add-on unit enables easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units together.
