The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. Open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization to fit various needs. The kit includes rugged 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving system uses a sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. It offers an open design with four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The package includes a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces. This boltless shelving add-on is engineered to expand and join units with greater stability and less effort compared to bolting starter units together.
