The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter, with no decking included, is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight capacity of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving unit is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing providing maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. It utilizes double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights are punched on 1" centers, and the double riveted horizontal beams adjust vertically in 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and allows four-side access due to its open design. Assembly is easy without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components.
