The SC Preferred 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with no decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers along with double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components instead. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel.
